A Year in Reflection

It seems this past year, one of great maturity and experiences
Has brought insight for the future

It is has told me what will happen based on the observations of day to day life

And I have come to a conclusion

That as day by day the hours pass forget nothing or all will be lost

Time will be swept from up under you feet and before you know it

There will be none left to live

As I get older it causes my heart rate to increase to a level

In which every little detail is a blur

Events have happened that I cannot recall

And I am left with the Alzheimer's I do not have

For this conclusion would be wise for all to hear

But most will see it as a blur and for them

The end is near

This nation moves at a rate incomprehensible to man

Until he see's it for himself

I did not know it as a boy, the expression "time flies"

This is not true, for time cannot fly but your mind can

It can lose track of all its doing and forget the good things in life

Until one day a sniff from a rose will be looked over

As that rose dies in his hand

Half a centenaries worth of technology, in number

Far exceeds the millennia of inventions in past

It has consumed us like a great beast

And we have made no observation that we are rotting inside

This is our death

It's funny for if you do not keep up you are left a blur

Forever forgotten, except in pictures

But even those betray us, as they too disintegrate with time

In the world of today the only way is be remembered to do something horrible

Or be president of course

It's funny isn't it, that we can only recall the bad things

Or the things that do not matter

In 50 years when we recall 9/11 the entire nation will be able to tell you

The leader and group responsible for this tragic day

But I guarantee the new populace cannot name the leader of the country at the time

Unless of course he make his mark on history in the same manor

I recall an event of an officer and his K9 being killed

I have to ask what is wrong when more people remember

The name of the dog and not the officer

The damned dog had no family that wept for him

Nor Friends he left behind

This is the tragedy I leave behind

I cannot bear to live in a society that will remember my K9 and not me

Did the dog save a life, did he discover anything intelligent

Or did he lick his butt all day

This is what anger's me and frightens me

This is my unmarked grave

We are all arrogant Hippocrates that cannot keep a story straight

We flip flop more than a patty and would sell

Our own mothers for the right price

I hope that this will not be a blur

That day by day you look back and see nothing

And look forward for change

The digression of our society will be our downfall

As we cannot stand for what we believe in

You say YES I CAN!

From behind a back lit computer screen

Or the middle of a mob

Muslims are the last to die for the cause they believe in

EVEN if they are the last!

You may have become angered and want to cut the head off the snake

But the head of the snake is YOU and

If you want change, you have to do it your self

ALONE!!!

A country that needs to wake up

Recently I saw a very political movie in which was very good, epically for political junkies. It was called lions for lams in which the movie looks at this war in 5 different perspectives; a reporter, a senator, a soldier, a student, and a professor. It's kind of an obvious perspective but it makes you think about specific statements, like the reporter stated, "World War II only took four years (give or take from whence we entered that war)." And though it wasn't action-packed or scary it was well put together.

The reason for this blog is not to give a review for a movie but to exclaim what it inspired me to think about. It has reminded me how this nation has burned to ashes, straight to the ground. I can't tell you where it went wrong but I can tell you why. Why did it fail to live up to what it was supposed to be, because of time. Through time, it is evident that things become corrupt, distorted, or progressive. It happens with everything, from computers to glass. There would have been only one way to prevent that, in which a diligent effort where no one relaxed and went with the flow. Sadly no one put in that effort, or cares to today. There are a few people that fight for the original America, but are snuffed out and over looked. The only diligent people in this country either or people that live only for themselves, or are bent on the destruction on conservative America.

These people are commonly known as liberals, or progressive thinkers. Conservatives are people that want to keep the values the US was founded on. And liberals tend to be democrats, though not always, and Conservatives tend to be republican, though not always. Too often ignorant America joins the class in which most of their values lie. Then when election comes around they vote for the person that is in that class. Listening sporadically to what that candidate believes in, and they still vote for that person. It ticks me off that America doesn't do their home work. That they jump onto a train in which their party lives. America need to wake up. The people bent on the destruction of old America are winning because the people that care, care to do nothing.

There are two parties out there, as I have sated before, Republican and Democrat. That coincides with two beliefs, Conservative and Liberal. If you are too conservative then America moves nowhere. If you are too liberal then America moves to where we don't want it. But there is a fence to stand on. It is called Libertarian. This group is meant for the progression of conservative values (to uphold the constitution into the future). They are small but they stand for what we all want. Wake up America and look around you, is this what you want?
